We are very excited to learn that Lambeth Music has doubled the number of secondary schools that will take part in Lambeth Sings this academic year. This is not only due to the success of our end of year event at Southbank Centre last summer, but also as a result of the fantastic Come and Sing Day in November, created by Southbank Centre and Lambeth Music Service. Five Lambeth secondary schools attended the day, which brought together a number of wonderful artists, including Aga Serugo-Lugo, Osnat Schmool, Randolph Matthews and Nathan Davonte.
The young people from across Lambeth Schools sang their hearts out in the foyer of the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Living Song Young Artists Richie, Harine and Richie supported the day, encouraging the young people and supporting the artists in each workshop. You can catch a glimpse of them here, enjoying an opportunity to sing at the Queen Elizabeth Hall as they wait for schools to arrive.
We very much look forward to our continued partnership with Lambeth Music Service, Southbank Centre and Pegasus Opera for the Sing Lambeth project through the New Year.
