Dear friends, associates and supporters,

Welcome to our autumn news update. Since April Living Song CIC has been working at capacity on a range of partnership activities, funded projects and commissions. We are especially proud of our work with Bromley Youth Music Trust and the legacy of wonderful songs created with so many children learning with special educational needs. The legacy collection of songs to share with children everywhere will be available through the BYMT website before the end of the year.

We continue to partner with our favourite Arts Centre, Stratford Circus, growing and refining the Newham Harmony massed singing project along with the Newham Music Hub and working to develop young leaders with NewYVC, the resident youth choir at Stratford Circus. It continues to be a joy and a privilege to work with all the young people from Newham.

We are excited to be welcoming Mary Amond O’Brien from Ireland and Dr. Brandon Williams from the USA into our CME London Course faculty. Both are well known to us and we cannot wait to introduce them to the CME delegates this coming year, along with our resident favourites, Mandy Miller and the rest of the team.

We have been engrossed in reflection, reporting to funders, applying for funds and refining our Business Plan for the next three years over the summer. We are delving into repertoire across a wide spectrum and looking forward to singing for joy, social justice, peace and love with all the beauty we can muster into the coming year.

Thank you for all your support, interest in our work and ongoing partnerships. We vey much look forward to working with you, or sharing our news into the next academic year. To learn more read on, or visit the Living Song CIC website.

Best wishes,

Jane
